On top of offering nitrous oxide sedation, we will move at your pace, take breaks when you require them, and provide calming reassurance as needed.
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous oxide is inhaled through the nose and mouth. The medication makes patients feel calmer, even though they stay awake and are able to communicate. It could lessen anxiety, increase pain threshold, reduce gag reflex, and help the time pass faster.
